Because of its diverse topography, India has always been an agrarian country, and the country's economy and rural life are strongly reliant on agriculture. This farming system provides nourishment for millions of people. One of the most crucial systems in place for an agrarian economy to survive and develop is a well-designed water distribution system for irrigating agricultural regions. Water resources are needed to irrigate farmland and provide drinking water to our country's millions of citizens.
In India, ~142 million hectares was cultivated, as of Fiscal 2014, of which less than 50% was irrigated. Indian farmers are forced to keep an eye on the sky for a good crop, despite investments totaling ₹ 5,390 billion in the past 10 years and multiple schemes for irrigation.
Jayvarudi Infracon has executed significant and minor irrigation projects for sustainable rural development, inspired by the vision of its Managing Director, Shri B.L.Vaghela. Our irrigation projects are primarily focused on improving water utilisation by constructing competent irrigation infrastructure, such as dams, weirs, lift irrigation systems, and canal networks. We collaborate with public authorities in developing and constructing irrigation infrastructure across India to ensure its success.
